The Tramway station on Ordu Caddesi looking through to the minaret of the Hoca Piri Mosque (Hoca Piri Cami), and behind this is the southern entrance to the Grand Bazaar. Istanbul has a nice modern metro system covering the main routes on the European side of the city, but you have to be very careful crossing the street to get your favourite Doner Kebap as the frequent Trams travel at a fair rate of knots!
